The team was friendly. Check-in was quick and straightforward. The en-suite room was spotlessly clean. The room included a decent kettle and tea and coffee sachets.
I was on the ground floor. I would have liked to have kept the curtains open during daylight hours. There was no frosting on the windows. I had to keep the curtains closed.

the lodge has a good connection to the city center. i needed around 45 min to get to my destination. the bakerloo line is only 10min away by foot. the staff was caring, the spanish receptionist stood out. the reception operates 24/7, i felt safe as a woman traveling alone.
sound proofing is very poor. i could hear a lot from other rooms. this made it difficult to sleep well.

I requested an iron, but the staff said I needed to wait nearly half an hour. It inconvenienced me, and I felt the situation was handled poorly. The iron should have been readily available or a clear solution offered immediately.

The location was problematic , because it is in an industrial area. I did not feel safe walking around there , especially at night. The room was also too small , and storage was very limited.

I found the staff very approachable and helpful. Daily housekeeping provided fresh towels and toiletries. The room had a good television with streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube) ready to use. Free secure parking was a significant advantage.
I noticed that the walls are quite thin. Sounds from neighboring rooms and the hallway were easily audible. This sometimes disrupted my sleep during the night.
